Hey everyone!
Today I have a new design to show you all! I've seen a bunch of girls doing fishtail braid inspired nail art recently and thought that since I've only ever attempted this design once, I wanted to do it again. In my tutorial searching (to refresh my memory as it's a bit tricky), I came across this tutorial on a French manicure version of it.
The design is a lot more intricate than your standard fishtail design but I wanted to challenge myself, and oh my god, did I challenge myself. I think it took me almost two hours to do and afterwards my back was aching from bending over so much to get up close to my nails. It takes a lot of patience to do, trust me. The lady in the tutorial makes it look so damn easy, plus she used acrylic paint which always makes nail art easier so it seems.
I'm pretty proud of what I achieved even if the lines are messy and a bit uneven, it looks pretty cool though!
I used Butler Please - Essie, Mulberry - Ulta3 and Lily White - Ulta3.
I'll probably never do these nails again I think, they just took it out of me and now that I'm looking at them they don't look like they should have been difficult. But oh well, it's something new and different to what I usually do so that's good. I'm proud of myself!

Hello lovelies! Today's post is another negative space mani that I did last week; I tried a few different designs out before I settled on the simple blue and gray stripes. I really like the gray diagonal stripes on my index finger, they were so easy and quick to do.
I used Babe It's Blue by Maybelline Color Show and Metropolitan by L'Oreal.
There's not much else to say just because it's such a simple design, so that's all for today! Thanks for reading.
Hello there! Today I have some very simple nail art to share with you. I'm not sure if anyone else has done this particular design because I randomly thought of it last night, so if you've seen it elsewhere let me know!
I used a medium sized striper brush that I cut thinner to do these lines. I wasn't a big fan of using striper brushes previously because I wasn't comfortable using them, but once I got the hand positioning right with the brush positioning and thinned them out a bit, I discovered that I loved them. They're easy to use when you know what works best for them.
For this design I once again used two Ulta3 polishes: Blackberry Tart and Palette Play.
I really do love this design, it's so simple and almost classy I think. I'd like to see how it would go with contrasting colours instead of the light and dark versions of the same colour.

Finallllly! The last post for this year's challenge! I'm quickly going to write this post out because it's late and I have work in the morning and I'm quite tired, so here we go.
For this prompt I couldn't think of any nails I wanted to honour by recreating so I didn't go with any specific person's nails or designs, I went with a nail art design that I've always wanted to do but had just never gotten around to doing: negative space nail art.
I've seen variations of these manis around the nail art world and always loved them, especially the one I've done today and it was surprisingly easy if you have a medium sized thin striper brush!
I used Bahama Mama by Essie. Such an underrated colour in my collection! I think it looks pretty cool and I'm excited to play around with other designs!
Well, that's officially it for the challenge! I'll hopefully be posting a round up post soon so that they're all in one place for future reference. As for my nails, I'm going on a week break from nail art to let them recover. I'll have a few miscellaneous posts in the next week just as fillers so I don't completely disappear.
