Purple / Pink Swirls

Hello everyone! To get me back into the swing of things, I thought I'd do some nail art that I love, even though I've only done it a few things. Swirls are so easy to do and you can get away with them being a bit messy.

For this design I used two OPI polishes: Dutch Tulips and Pamplona Purple.

I don't know if I've said it before but I'd love to try this with three colours, which I think I'd have to use a smaller dotting tool and a lighter hand to achieve. But it'll be a good future challenge!

Swirly Nail Art Tutorial

Hey everyone! You might remember back at the start of the challenge in September I did some green swirls; well today, I'm back with a tutorial on them! I also added another colour this time and I think it gives it a lot more dynamic. I also love my colour choice because I don't usually for bright oranges and pinks together and I think they worked out really well.

The polishes I used were both by Ulta3 (as usual), the orange is Tangelo Twist and the pink is Fruit Tingle.

Watch the video below to find out just how easy it is to do these nails, and don't forget to subscribe!

31DC2014: Day 4 - Green

Hello lovelies! Today's post is very fun in my opinion. I had originally planned to do a Sims 4 mani considering today is the release date and today's prompt is green, the plumbob colour! But I just couldn't get it right, even with help of a tutorial. So I sadly scrapped that design and suddenly came up with this one. Now I've seen this design as tie dye manis in the past with lots of different colours, but I didn't follow a tutorial or anything, just started in the middle and made a spiral outwards.

I think they turned out really cool. It's something I've never done before so that's a bit fun! They're not perfect, but then again, they aren't meant to be. I wanted them messy.

I used Mojito Madness by Essie.

I'd love to try out the proper tie dye mani in the future with the different colours as I reckon that'd be even better than this one. In the meantime though I'm going to play the crap out of The Sims 4!

Thanks for reading!
